E-Brake Stuck

Recommended Posts

If its stuck the cable is probably getting rusted up in the housing. What gary said..pull both front wheels and figure out which cable is seized. You can try working it around but that has never worked for me. If its seized that good then id say just unhook it at the brake for now until you get a new cable.

Got it unstuck by using WD-40 and hit it with my screw driver till I saw it move, then I worked it back and forth by hand till it was released..... But..... The grinding continues..... Gonna have to wait till my next day off and remove the wheels and check my pads..... FAIL. Thought for sure it was just my ebrake.
