nickb21 Posted July 28, 2010 Share Posted July 28, 2010 I think only the higher trim levels came with an actual cabin filter installed from the factory (eg. Limited+). You can add the filter though if yours dosn't have it. On my '02 Legacy Outback you have to pull the glove box, and then pop open a section above the blower fan, been awhile since i've been under there though. mountainwalker Posted July 28, 2010 Share Posted July 28, 2010 There may also be another one on the side of the dash board facing the driver's side door - at least there is one on my Outback 03 VDC 3.0L H6. greenleg88 Posted July 28, 2010 Author Share Posted July 28, 2010 hmm i never saw anywhere for an air filter on the drivers side even when i took off the kick panel... ill take a look behind the glove box when i get a chance.. i have the outback sport i thought that was the highest trim level? i didnt know they made a limited on top of that. thanks for the help.
