monstaru
so, this debuted at like 9 or so... i have since fingered out a suspension.and it just so happens that my road is torn up for construction. http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h56/monstaru/offroad%20skate/?action=view¤t=MVI_4561.mp4#!oZZ2QQcurrentZZhttp%3A%2F%2Fs61.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fh56%2Fmonstaru%2Foffroad%2520skate%2F%3Faction%3Dview%26current%3DMVI_4562.mp4%26 mods so far include, ea82t valve springs for rear (and soon to be front)suspension.including some shock bushings from an ea81 shock.some rubber fuel line for foot stays(soon to be replaced by old school click in bindings by whatever manufacture i can find, hopefully Vans), and some stylin alloy rims. soon to come, some SUBARU,. i have been looking for an EHO35 that i can afford for a while.they are rather spendy for a project of this scope.so if you have one, make me a deal on it. cheers, brian
Turbone
I've got a mountain board (actually my kids) and would love to motorize it. Tips, plans, etc would be sweet. Are you bringing that to the Show this year? Love to take a closer look at it.
porcupine73
haha that's pretty neat. A coworker was telling me he built something like that about 20 years ago, and one of the neighborhood kids got into his garage and took it out one time. He said the thing would go 35-40 mph. So this kid wiped out on it and I guess messed himself up pretty good on it.

daredevil1166
A buddy and I made a standard skateboard motorized when I was a kid. We built a rig with an 8" spring loaded wheel hanging off the back. It mounted to the four bolts that held the rear truck on, so it could be bolted to any skateboard. We never did figure out how to make turning work well that way though. The fifth wheel made it really hard to turn.
