Ruggage
I have a '84 brat, i am not getting any voltage at the fuel pump wit just the ignition key on. Fuse ok. I jumpered power to it and the fuel pump fires right up. Does the power to the pump run thru another circuit that cuts power to the pump? Any ideas what to check for? Help would be appreciated Thanks, Glen

beauregaardhooligan
Ruggage, there is some kind of sensor at the coil that shuts the fuel pump off if the engine doesn't keep running after initial start-up. Keeps the fuel pump from over-pressurizing the system. That's about all I know, sorry.

I found that this is not the case with the Brat. Got it working, so thanks! Glen
