SubeeTed
Hi ALL! I found this timing belt set on Ebay. Looks very complete. BUT....is it any good? johnceggleston
i like these guys, theimportexperts: http://motors.shop.ebay.com/theimportexperts/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg= ej22 belt, all idlers and pump, about $125, IIRC. lots of folks have had good experiences with them. they also have a retail store somewhere, if you do not see the "package" you want call them, they will put together what you need. by the way, you probably do not need the tensioner unless yours is leaking fluid. they do not fail very often. davebugs
I've always used the importexperts w/no issues.
Fairtax4me
That one has the tensioner but no idlers. I'd be much more worried about the idlers than the tensioner. The stick style tensioners don't go bad unless they are compressed incorrectly.
idosubaru
what they all said, we buy those ebay kits all the time, importexpeerts seem to be preferred, by me as well.
ShawnW
I just started my own company called RetroRoo and I think I can match that price, working on beating it but its tight as they give free shipping too. I don't use any aftermarket cam or crank seals which cuts into it. Factory timing belt and accessory belts, Paraut OEM type water pump, genuine thermostat and gasket. I can add idlers at a very reasonable cost as well. If somebody wants a custom kit (IE they don't want the tensioner or cam seals or something I can give a quote on that).
