Subruise
howdy, and welcome to the board. without any knowledge of your particular vehicle id say its either timing belts or a headgasket. EA82(the motor in your soob) have tendencies to go wrong sometimes and thats usually where. again, you didnt say what was wrong with it but theres an un-warranted stab in the dark RV

92_rugby_subie
Welcome to the board! They are great at fast replies and great advice huh? Like stated before, check the older generation subaru forum, and you will find advice on ANYTHING. I had a 1984 Subaru GL Wagon... EA81 motor, and the biggest source of my knowledge is Rick... General Disorder... He is great, try to find him... and ask him about a symptom and he will let you know.
