__aw
Well, it quit working, no more fluid squirting out. It looks like the pump might be buried in the body above the passenger side front wheel. Any tips on the best / easiest way to access it? Guessing I will need to pull off the plastic stuff in the wheel well and go in from underneath. Not a clue what caused it. Planning to first check for continuity at the washer pump, then check to see if the pump works, and hopefully it is something simple. Is there anything in particular you guys have seen that is a common failure with this part? Thanks!
GeneralDisorder
Not a common failure. Easy to access from the bottom of you pull the wheel off and remove the splash gaurd. Or you can pull the fender off. Check the fuses first. GD
987687
Mine seized. I got it going again, but it never had very much power afterwards. One from a JY was about $5. You can get the pump out of the bottle without removing the bottle. Just remove the splash guard. If want to remove the bottle it's just 3 10mm nuts under the hood and the bottle drops out.
