DustinL Posted September 6, 2010 Share Posted September 6, 2010 I was wondering what needs to be done for swapping my 78 EA 71 Brat over to the EA 81 engine if I can find one on the cheap. I know I'll need the EA transmission too, but do all the alignment bolts for the two mount up on the fame how much fab work would I need to do? Thanks! GeneralDisorder Posted September 6, 2010 Share Posted September 6, 2010 It will bolt in - the biggest concern is the steering shaft which I beleive interfere's with the bell-housing slightly.
