The Dude Abides Posted September 22, 2010 Share Posted September 22, 2010 Im going to lift the front end of my car 1 more inch to level it out and get some of the extreme angle off the front cv shafts. Im curious if anyone has done this with 1 piece of 1inch square tubeing and if so how long does it need to be. mcbrat Posted September 28, 2010 Share Posted September 28, 2010 you'll need 1x2 rectangular tubing. you can see the bolts/nuts from the underside of the car, where the engine crossmember bolts to the frame rails. you'll need longer bolts, and you may need to lengthen the steering linkage... you can have my 1" blocks, and adjust one of the holes as needed...
