brysawn
So I've been looking for a gen 1 legacy for a long while now. And I finally found a good one. So while my Loyale goes in for straight axles and an ej22, this is what I'll be driving: I bought it from the original owner. It's all stock, auto, and has 133k, and has all service records from the Subaru dealership that had done everything since the day it was bought, including the original window sticker. brysawn
Thanks guys! I need to find some good floor mats, any suggestions? I want oem rubber ones, but the dealership says they can't get them for first gen Legacy's.
ericem
Ones from a wrx should fit pretty good. So try out w/e subaru mats they have and see which fit best.
brysawn
Okay, cool thanks. Here's the direction I will be going with this car: Right now, I'm not to sure of what wheels I want. I'm thinking Borbet type A's, but I'm not completely set. I do know that I will have smaller tires, and better fitment. Coils, wheels, tires, done. That's the plan
brysawn
Also, what does the "shift lock" button do? And the "manual" button (which is on the side of the automatic gear selector)?

I have the same color Legacy as you do. If your interior is tan, like mine, then the tan Costco one's match's the interior well. The quality and price is really good, too. Under $20. ericem
Also, what does the "shift lock" button do? And the "manual" button (which is on the side of the automatic gear selector)? allows you to start in 2nd gear so if you put manual switch on, and you put gear lever in 2nd it will take off from that gear for traction situations. If you need to shift out of park (solenoid died, or need to roll car without keys) push the button then you can shift out of park.
