1-3-2-4
Does anyone have the pinout to this? I want to build a wire harness for mine and I can't seem to locate the pinout for the switch.. I figured out which one controls the background lighting for the switch but I want to know will it work with a automotive relay?

OB99W
A little confused on the wire color.. BY is brown right? [...] No, brown would be Br. BY = Black/Yellow(stripe) W = White WY = White/Yellow(stripe) YL = Yellow/Blue(stripe) The colors in your pics agree with those in the diagrams I posted. If you need more info, you'll have to explain either what's wrong or what you're trying to do.

OB99W
Can I hook this switch up to a standard automotive relay? In the factory configuration, the switch is used to control a relay coil. As long as you don't exceed the switch's contact ratings, you could use it however you like.

I understand, One other thing I understand which powers the dash fog light icon but what about the 3 other wires that's the part where I'm confused over where it goes in relation with the relay. looking at the picture posted it seems they are all connected together? 1-3-2-4
looking at the pdf now and I see where the white/yellow and yellow/blue go and the black/yellow.. So that gives me two wires left over white and yellow/blue. It seems the other yellow/blue should go in the 8 pole connector? So that means the white wire goes to the relay then? *edit yeah must be I just connected two 9V batts up to it and the black/yellow and yellow/blue are for the light to tell you that the fog light is on. Suzam
You are correct the white goes to the relay. I take it your white wire is cut off? My old wires have it going to a 4 pin plug on top of the relay. There is 2 black/white heavier wires off one pin and a red/yellow and a white/black off the other 2 on that plug also. The wire on the switch? No I have all the wires when the guy pulled the switch I told him could he please keep the connector with it since all the switches on ebay don't have the clip in connector, I've had this switch just sitting her for almost 2 years. I think I will be making a whole new harness anyways
Suzam
Ok so you have the switch and the plug that goes to it and then just the cut wires? The original wire harness had additional connectors on it, the one I was talking about is a plug that fits on the OEM relay. It has connections to tell it when the headlights are on low or high so they only work when to low beams are on.
1-3-2-4
I know what you are talking about but I would not need that the last owner of this car put in thos $$$ PIAA fog lights where it's like $50 for replacement bulbs anyways the harness is all over but at this point in time I don't know what's being used as the trigger I do know that the switch turns on when the key is switched to On from my understanding looking at the install guide you sent me the connections to those pole connections I assume are all tied into the parking light switch which when turned on turns on the fog light icon.
