I left a family member's house this morning on the way back to CT and it was around 47 F outside.. Anyways after about 3 min or so warming up I noticed some slight steam under the hood so i figured it was just a little water because it did rain pretty hard over the night but I decided to check the hood anyways and I open it and the car is steaming and coolant leaking, It was hard to tell where the leak was coming from but the leak stopped when I gave it a little throttle and never leaked again on the 300+ miles drive home..

:-/ any clue? I'm about 45 miles from 230,000 HG maybe? I have a video here.. not that great but it's something.

One of those pesky water pump leaks probably. Mine did that a few times and has a very small leak somewhere around the thermostat housing. It will dump coolant all over the place when it's cold, but then the engine warms up and it stops. Then it might do it the next day or it might wait a month before doing it again.

it's not the drivers side unless coolant can somehow make it's way all the way to the other side of the engine from the cam.
