danrenfroe2016 Posted October 12, 2010 Share Posted October 12, 2010 OK, Stupid question. I am making Franken brakes for the front of my newly lifted 80 brat. Using GEN 1 Knuckle - Gen 2 Rotor, Gen 2 Caliper and Gen 2 dust metal thing... OK DUMB question... In the Gen 2 calipers I received from subaru Heaven, There are very small metal bushings that were on the INNER Pad Tabs, WIth these small metal pieces, the new pad would not fit in the tab grooves, with out the small metal pieces the pad fit perfectly... So I guess these little pieces are NOT needed??????? I cant see any other problems except for minor brake line work and such... And I allready have new Gen 1 Ball Joints...
