OREchipmunk78
Well heres a dumb question but I'm still new to Subies so here goes: would a subtle solutions 1" 02-07 impreza lift fit on my 87 gl wagon?
GeneralDisorder
No - not even close. Totally different platforms. GD
OREchipmunk78
Thanks again Rick I just saw some on CL and it made me wonder
Numbchux
actually.....the fronts would work. the 3-bolt EJ strut top pattern is only slightly different than the EA82 one. a few minutes with a dremel (seriously, less than a mm on each hole) and it would work. http://www.subtle-solutions.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_23_35_86&products_id=98 BUT, since there's no camber correction, it would push the strut tops out a bit from the center of the car, which would give it even more positive camber.....yikes. And, it would only be the front.

Numbchux
^| wow no offset. that's pretty common for just 1" spacers. since EJ cars have a camber adjustment between the strut and knuckle.
daredevil1166
^| wow no offset. I'm not surprised. I have 2" lift blocks and I have no camber issues.

bratman18
They work great for the newer ones that they are made for!! I have been running the Jackson Rally version for a while on my 2000 OBS with no issues
GeneralDisorder
Yeah - if you have adjustable camber (EJ's) then it's not as much of an issue. It's a fail on the EA's though. GD
