stephen115 Posted October 15, 2010 Share Posted October 15, 2010 I have a 82 subaru brat 4wd, will I have to make any modifications to use the 4wd? and also when I install the ej22 wil the car always be in fwd or will it turn it into awd? and would I be able to do the swap in a weekend? SJ From the sound of your understanding of the differnece between an engine and a transmission......no I would advise spending some time doing more research. First time out - figure at least a month with a ton of help from the board and possibly some folks dropping by in person. This is NOT A SMALL TASK.
