TahoeOutback Posted October 25, 2010 Share Posted October 25, 2010 Hi All, I have been reading this forum for a while but this is my first post. I have a 2000 OBW LTD. I recently performed the 150k service including changing the NGK BRK5E-11. After i got home and looked over my manual I discovered that i am speced to use the 6E version. One heat rating cooler. However ALL other year OB's seem to spec either the 5 or the 6 plug. The 2000 only list the 6E plug. How bad is it to run this plug. I have about 100 miles on these and they seem to work fine. Fairtax4me Posted October 25, 2010 Share Posted October 25, 2010 Probably fine. If other years with the same engine call for the same plug then I'd say there's probably nothing to worry about.
