torxxx
I havent ever Torx'd anything on my car. I just do it by feel and the size of the bolt/nut that I am tightening. tighten it till it almost snaps
WJM
i dont tighten it quite that much. Usually the really important things to be tight, aka crank pully, need to be tight as a mo-fo. Other things...just past snug...except for the turob bolts and nuts, which are just snug. Otherwise...they seize and break!
oddcomp
i have a tendancy to underestimate how much power i put on a ratchet and break stuff... even with short ratchets but anyways its done just got a few things to do in the morning thanx for the tips
Snowman
14.8 ft/lbs is the high end of spec, which I would recommend going to for this part to avoid future leaks. Do I count as a soob addict if I "just happen to have" an FSM sitting within reach of my computer chair?
