mcbrat
I used this in a PM, and thought it might be a good sticky. Feel free to add pics. I will eventually take all the pictures and use them in a rehosted page... post pics and description of lift and tires only. other stuff WILL be deleted. 3" lift, pug 15" alloys, 205/65r15, just a slight roll at back of wheel well in front... same lift, with 195/70r14 tires. same lift, 205/70r14 tires on genuine subaru alloys... 3" lift, 14" pug steels, 27x8.50x14 BFG All-Terrains. slight trimming of rear of front wheel well... same vehicle with same size tires, but BFG Mud Terrain. same wagon with 225/70r14 ATs, and a different Brat with 4" lift, and the 27x8.50x14 BFG Mud-Terrains. same wagon, but with 4" lift, 27x9.50x15 Swamper SSRs on 15" chevy/toyota wheels (high offset). still haven't beat enough to stop rubbing.... Brat with 5" lift and 27x9.50x15 swampers on same wheels as above.... lots of trimming/bashing, and tied down in pic.... same Brat with complete customs suspension, toyota axles, lots of trimming, and 315/70R17 (35") all-terrains. 987687
2" lift. 205/75/14 tires on alloy pugs. No bashing, it's a tight fit, but no rubbing. I do have a load, so that's probably lowering it a little bit more than when there's no boat on the roof Edited November 25, 2010 by 987687

BEECHBM69
No lift, but some people are interested in what fits without one, so here are 205/70/14s, with no lift, no bashing, and an ever so slight rub on the fender at full lock compressed suspension. 195/75/14s don't rub at all. The wheels are off of an older Dodge D50 (I think.) Dan

willdeh2
^Nice ride! I've got a '96 and was curious about doing a lift and bumper kinda like that. Is this your daily driver? How much did all of it cost? And are you satisfied with the result?

BrianAbington
Very neat. How do these cars handle (especially the older GL's) around town? Do they feel unsteady when you hit something like a bump at hwy speeds? My 86 kicks around alot but I would think that 27-33" tires would absorb alot more than the little 13" tires I have now. Some guard trimming on the front when I had desert rat rims. Now some rubbing at full lock on chassis rails up front, only near the firewall though.
