Bizangous
I have a 92 loyale 4x4 with ~180k miles. Anyway I'm leaking fluid from this pipe that runs from the passenger side block to the intake manifold. Is this something that need a new seal or new part? do I have to remove the manifold to fix/replace the part to stop the leak?
hooziewhatsit
That's the EGR pipe. I highly doubt you're loosing coolant there More likely is one (or both) of the tiny coolant hoses on the intake. One is directly behind the throttle body and goes down into another metal coolant line. This one is 3/8". The other goes from the thermostat housing, under all the wires in front of the intake, and into the block. This one is 1/4".
GeneralDisorder
Looks like it could also be the intake manifold gasket(s). Agreed - not the EGR pipe. Not possible. GD
Bizangous
Thanks, I gave it a closer look and I can see little bits and parts of the intake gasket.
