ncwillus
Hey guys, My 97 legacy was running fine for awhile and one day went to go crank it to warm up and it made this very prompt squeak then it was shuttering like. well i came back later and once i did, it still was sputtering and it smoked a bit. very low power, any ideas what it may be? Legacy777
It may have been a timing belt idler pulley bearing, and the belt may have jumped a tooth, which could be causing your low power and sputtering. How many miles are on the car and when was the last time the belt has been replaced, or any other routine maintenance?
ncwillus
I had a belt put on recently and it has 200k miles and some change. Last night though my friend brought over his computer and it pulled the codes P0341&P0400&P0507. I am curious if those will fix my problem.
