6 lug swap

I've searched the stickies and posts but can't find any info on a 6 lug swap on a DL. Other than using XT components for a 5 lug swap, has anyone found a successful way to get 6 or am I dreaming? I know many Japanese 4x4 trucks share a 6 lug pattern that opens up some options for wheel/tire combos for off road applications, which I am interested in for my 88 DL. Not interested in making a monster truck, just after a mild lift and good traction in moderate trail driving.

 

Just fishing here! Don't hate me if this is stupid-it's not my fault! Didn't get to select my genetic options (obviously)

Either mount up a 6lug wheel on 2 lugs and use it to drill out lug holes in your hubs, or do the reverse and use a spare drum to drill your wheels to 4lug

I went and talked to a local machinist (Superior Metal Products just north of castle rock, co) about what I wanted to do. $100 and 2 days later, I had lug hubs.
