off-road-knight
hello everyone I have an EA82t and I noticed when I first got it started it was shooting coolant out of the intake manifold toward the flywheel opening, so I looked at it and it looks to be a little-tiny freeze plug popped out because their is a freeze plug still in tact directly underneath the one that came out. does anybody have any good advice on how to go about replacing this? their is no room for me to get a punch and hammer in their, so any info would be wonderful, I would like to drive my new car for the first time lol
off-road-knight
no ones ever had this problem? I cant find s**t anywhere on how this is properly done. I feel like a cartard:slobber:
NorthWet
It's Saturday night, and even Subaru Cultists go out on weekends. Give others some time. I had a similar experience, but it was with a non-turbo "spider" manifold. The freeze/core plug was an unusual size, so I just ended up tapping it for a standard pipe plug. off-road-knight
yea sorry for being impatient, but I went to car quest and the smallest freeze plug they have clicked right into place, so today I was able to drive the car for the first time and being new to the turbo thing it was pretty fun! but thanks to everybody who looked!
