I'm french 27 years old. I Love subaru.

I have 2 subaru forester :

 

My first , MY1998

 

With his off-road mods :

- King spring +30mm springs

- Kayaba GR-2 Strut

- Fedima extrem evolution mud tires

 

- EJ22 swapped

- AFR and fuel pressure manometer

- adjustable petrol tap

 

 

 

And my second, A My 1998 Too, with LPG system. full option , leather interior , heater seat, opening roof, impreza streering wheel

 

-stainless steel muffler

-stainless steel non equal lenght header

-rear disque brake instead of OEM drum

-

No subaru aren't popular, but the subaru's owner are very very happy of their car!

The biggest problem in france is the dealers!

The nearest of me is at 40miles ago and the road to go are very full :-(

 

But i do all of my mechanical my-self and i bought a lot of item at subarugenuineparts.com (canada)

 

Today it snow, it's a lot of fun! ;-))))

Early Merry Christmas to you all. True a family with Subarus. Many of us have experience with French cars also. It was very difficult to find parts and we have similar experience in the difficulty. Then it was Depanauto and now something different. You must be very well with your AWD Subarus over the last few winters. Traction avant then awd

Could I Ask Which Subaru Model was the Donor for those Rear Disc brakes?

For my rear brake Itake the part of a legacy ej22 wagon.

I place the ej22 engine on my gray foz and the rear disc brakes on my red foz.

 

I take the rear "half-axle" (gray/blue on pics)

I had to change the rear parking brake cables, the rear brake hose.

 

I changed the rear wheel bearing, brembo disc, ferrodo pads at the same time.

I Guess that in France, the Owners of Old School Subarus don't have Problems to Find Rims for the Old 4 X 140 Lug Pattern... in USA People Hunt for Old Peugeot Rims, here in my Country I Used to Own a set of Nice Looking Luxury Rims from Renault, they were "Cheviot" Brand, Made in France...

The oldest subaru i have seen here is the my94 impreza.

 

And I dont know what wheel your have. Renault is in 4x108 and peujeot in 4x100 .

Maybe for the old renault or for the utility vehicule.

Yes... Old Renaults & Peugeots had the 4 X 140 Rims, like Old Subarus Did.

The "Loyale" model name for USA and certain Latin American Counties (such as Chile), for the Rest of the World it is Known with other Names, but the most well Known is "Leone"
