aaronxs400
just wondering if anyone has seen an 81/82 with shaved door handles, bumpers, maybe the trim removed, something euro inspired?
Caboobaroo
I was in the process of shaving everything on my gen 1 Brat but all I had a pic of was the fenders after I filled in my side markers. I left the door handles but got rid of the trim mirrors and side marker lights.

aaronxs400
wow...nicest brat i think ive seen. Got a question for ya...what does the ea81 cars look like with no front bumper? ive seen some vw rabbits and datsuns with no front bumper and they look pretty good, mainly because the sheet metal behind the bumper isnt to bad. Pretty sure you could pull it off reasonably quick if you wanted to check it out, and if you weren't a huge fan it wouldn't take much to reinstall it. Yeah. They come off pretty easily. Buy they look like crap with no bumper. Lol
Mr. Brat
Agreed, It's only about 6 bolts if I do remember. But thet do look really bad, there is a ton of holes and they are fairly large ones at that. In my opinion, you are better off making a slim sleak type of bumper or leaving the stock one on it. Thanks for the compliment also
aaronxs400
im thinkin of a custom roll pan in the rear, and either a roll pan style piece of sheet metal in the front (similiar to how the VW mk1 rabbits look with no bumper) or a small simple smooth bumper from another car.
