Robert M Posted January 5, 2011 Share Posted January 5, 2011 When it goes below 20 degrees, my Subie wagon sometimes starts banging really loud out by the rear suspension, every time you hit the slightest bump in the road. There could be slop in the shock shaft cause the oil is breaking down with age and usage, so it could be rumbling around when it gets way cold.
