DC493 Posted January 8, 2011 Share Posted January 8, 2011 I went to put anti freeze in my Loyale this morning and when I went to pull the hood latch it came out more than it should and now my hood wont open. On top of that it WILL not start I recently (a week ago) put in new battery teminals. How can I open my hood with out the latch and why do I have no power!? MilesFox Posted January 8, 2011 Share Posted January 8, 2011 if you can pop the grille out, you should be able to feel around for the end of the cable behind the hood latch and actuate it manually. once the hood is open, you can rig a coat hanger as a pull rod. the grill is secured by plastic screws on the top, and pegs on the bottom. if you are careful with a flat screwdriver, you may be able to pop out the plastic screws, and pull the top of the grille forward, up, sand out.
