I've never had to do it on my Subies, but on some other makes for sure.

 

I'm guessing that the same bolt thread you have on the front caliper slide pins would be correct. At least is was on my wife's Lexus (rotor, not drum in this case). You could try one of those to see if it fits, but I wouldn't suggest using one of those bolts, as it could get destroyed. If it fits, get a couple of new ones from an auto parts supplier to use for removing the drums. Good Luck!

It is an 8mm. 8x1.25

Make sure the handbrake is not on.

It can also be done by placing a block of wood on rotor and hitting with a hammer around the circumference.

Can get bolts from any good hardware store or an auto store.

The radiator bracket bolts are the right size. Just replace when done.
