Scott in Bellingham Posted January 16, 2011 Share Posted January 16, 2011 (edited) Been thinkin about this build for a while I have a Old Ford I got back when I was 14 its a 30 Ford Model A not much left of it, Im goin to take the windsheild and cowl and make a tub heres a model I mocked up plan to have it up and runnin for the summer, not sure on a moter yet may not be a Subaru, could be the engine from my Dodge Dakota small V-6 we will see i wont be out much, plan on using stuff I have already got a 78 postal Jeep for the frame and axles body comin off stock frame stock postal Jeep spring repacked upsidedown mock up Edited January 16, 2011 by Scott in Bellingham title Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bheinen74 Posted January 16, 2011 Share Posted January 16, 2011 I dont see how you will get any needed down travel on the solid axle when its "on top" of the frame rail.
