Crazyeights
Walker Subaru and many others. The dealer is probably best for these parts.
Fairtax4me
Separator plate is only available from a dealer as far as I know. This site http://www.subarupartsforyou.com/cp_partdetail.php?partid=11564 has all the part numbers you'll need, but your local dealer should know the drill. Very common replacement item on EJ series engines. Rear main is probably not leaking.

92_rugby_subie
Go with a dealer. They give you the metal separator plate, which doesnt crack..
nipper
Rear main 99.9% of the time never leaks, do not mess with it, you will be sorry and get very good at pulling the engine.
bgambino
hey guys my dad is trying to fix my 1997 Legacy Outback 2.5 4.cyl automatic transmission.. the oil separator broke & the Rear oil seal and its leaking like crazy we are trying to buy the oil separator and the rear oil seal but we can`t find it anywheres i looked in autozone but no luck can anyone provide me a link where i can buy one thank you Goro You can get it at the dealer...or depending if you have time...order it from 1st subaru(actually Walkers Renton Subaru in WA state) I JUST got a quote from them (Jon at jantrim@walkersrenton.com) for the same thing for my 98 outback wagon 2.5 Part Number/Description 806786040 :OIL SEAL - $8.59 11831AA210 :COVER OIL SEPARATOR - $24.80 800406140 :BOLT SOCKET - .$.28 Each x 6 Be careful...my local dealer gave me a similar # for the oil sep plate ...but when I asked why different from the above #...he said the one he pulled up was plastic...I had him use the above # and he looked up a bulletin and said "subaru is stupid" the way they do things...he said the above # should have been listed as the replacement (as it is metal)
Luvn737s
I think Walker carried it for $25 or so. But you'll need the attach bolts too for a couple bucks. I sealed mine with Permatex "The RightStuff" sealant.
