soobiefreak85
Hey, I have a 2002 Outback Sedan with 156K. For a few years now been having an air leak on the drivers side weather stripping. It seems to be around the vent door hinge area. It is loud as hell on the highway but I can't feel the air coming into the cab, so its hard to pin point. I have inspected the gasket everything seems good (nothing dangling, rips or tears, etc.) Car hasn't been in a wreck so the door isn't out of alignment. It seems to be starting to do the same thing on Pass. side. On a real windy day on the highway I might as well roll down the windows, its that annoying. Any ideas on a fix? Is this common? I hate to spend $130 on new door gasket if there is a better/easier way. Thanks.
Suzam
Not sure what you mean by "vent door" but check THIS THREAD for a problem with the gusset at the very front of the window.
