Possible remedy for torque bind...

Recommended Posts

Narrowpath, Welcome to Ultimate board! Even tho you shoulda posted this as a separate item, as the thread wandered off< I believe you will be getting an education about the "duty C" solenoid and related checks. Since U'r a trooper have have already lifted it to check, U may want to check the operation of your differential. Is a great time to have it in neutral or whatever and try that the one wheel turns freely/smooth and the other goes opposite without huge play, clunks or grinding feel. Also a good time to check differential fluid for presense, Smell it for stank and change it perhaps. With all normal there it's sorta back to that solenoid and assoc plates and stuff that others here know a ton about.

btw After submitting, if the screen says POSTED under your msg then it already is. If instead of going back, you jump into the same ..Legacy.. section your browser may or may not tell you that you are (re)submitting that same msg whn you jump there. :-\ confusing help as usual :)
