987687
That's really terrible to look at. So sorry to see this. I love the Legacy SS, and yours was mint. I hope you can make another one beautiful.
brycarp
You said you wanted to get back into a Legacy SS, so I thought I'd point out this on our local Colorado Subaru enthusiasts group. Let me know if you want help establishing contact.
ericem
Thank's for the suggestion currently looking into a 05-09 legacy gt. Until a bunch of house reno's finish won't be looking at another SS, unless it is a deal that I can never find again like my car was
1-3-2-4
good luck in whatever you find I'd love to get a 05 LGT but maybe in a few more years... shocked they are coming down in price so fast.

ericem
Yes same to you! and agreed ^ drivetrain out Bad news is water pump done oil pump only thing probably good is the bareblock and the transmission case cracked too
Fairtax4me
I wouldn't put any trust in that engine. Frontal impacts can damage internal bearings. You may have a damaged thrust bearing, scored main bearings. The crank could be bent. It might run fine, but damaged crank bearings will eventually lead to low oil pressure, and more damage. ericem
The engine is being completely torn down. All that is being used is the block itself not the crank, pistons, rods etc. It will be a 2.35l stroker build.
1-3-2-4
wow man you tore it down good! I would of LOVED to pull my engine so I wont have to spend rip off prices for a used ej22.. I have plans for a build but just incase something blows up I don't want that to be my only motor.
