Casino Loyale
EA82 Well, I did a compression test. Got 105 / 135, 80/ 140. Wet tested 80 and got 110. Pressure tested radiator w/ no coolant and air escaped from the 80 spark plug hole as fast as I could pump it in the radiator. 80 held pressure, a spoon of oil increased pressure but air from radiator rushes in...What going on? Idasho
if you have air passing from the radiator into a cylinder or vise-versa during a compression test, then you have one of two problems. *bad headgasket or *hole in a cylinder exposing a water jacket
GeneralDisorder
Throw that engine in the scrap heap. It's hosed. Used replacement is cheaper than fixing it. GD
MilesFox
UGGGH only if they are falling out of the sky!!. give it to me if you throw it out. I have the last ea82 on earth, at least in my region. sounds like blown head gasket. easy to fix. dont wasete a still good motor if you can fix it yourself. what if you get a junkyard engine and it blows a head gasket? i have fixed these motors in WAY WAY WAY worse condition.
