Heres mine. Its alittle more broke than usual. I just got back from an offroad party up north.

While I was up there:

I exploded a rear axle cup trying to drive around a mega broke jeep buggy thing,When that happened I had to get pulled off a rock to turn around and go down the trail that pull swung my passenger side into the front end of the jeep buggy-putting a massive dent in my rear passenger door and breaking my right taillight.

I had these shock mounts for the rear that I bought at an offroad store, both of them broke, so Im gonna return them and build some mounts that are much stronger.

then at some point I broke the other rear axle(didn't explode it though). So my car is all sorts of broke right now.

Specs:

83 Subaru GL wagon

removed the roof after the C pillars

8" lift

EA81

SPFI

legacy radiator

5 speed DR

Nissan transfer case

4.11 diffs out of a legacy, the rear one is welded

31 10.50 15 mud tires

worst thing about breaking that stuff was I had spare parts, just they didn't make it into the truck when I left lewiston.

Thought that I might add my L series to this list - Ruby Scoo:

EJ22

DR PT4wd L series gearbox cased in EJ gearbox front casings = no adaptor required

3 inch lift (BYB I think)

Honda front springs in rear - great mod to do for some extra lift and carrying capcity!

2 1/4 inch cat back exhaust

I use 23 inch tyres in the snow and 27 inch tyres on 14 inch scorpion rims when offroad - they look awesome!

Rear bar for wheel carrier and jerry holder.

Loads of electrical stuff inside - also very messy as I tend to live out of it!

Enjoy:

Twin stick setup should be done by the end of this week!

Thanks goes out to the whole USMB board for inspiring me and helping me figure out the best way to do this!

I'm late to the party. But I finally got my GL lifted a bit.

2" SJR kit. (also threw a 5 speed in for good measure) Being my DD and backroads explorer now and I don't wheel it as hard as I used to I went for 2" instead of 4". I couldn't be happier. It's just how I always wanted it.
