Jack Foulard
I've had good results with BG44k and have had techs report that it is all they will use even though the dealership doesn't offer this product.
Legback
Pull the brake booster hose (I never did find a good and convenient smaller vacuum line - but thought about pulling one on the throttle body and inserting a new" hose to do the sucking) and keep pouring the Sea Foam into that cap so that I can see the fluid level and keep sucking it into the engine. That way you can see what's going on and not kill the engine until you're supposed to. I read about it here. It was the first time I had used Sea Foam and now I always keep atleast one on the shelf. I can't believe the difference this Sea Foam has made. I've used lucas in the gas and never noticed a change like Sea Foam made through the IACV hose. efseiler
speaking of gas additives...I overcame my skepticism one again and bought a couple bottles of the Lucas stuff. I put just a half bottle into the tank of my OB and...wow...what a difference it makes in pickup and horsepower. Zoom! It even makes my drivetrain shudder less when I downshift using my new (iffy) clutch. I'm going to save the 'Startron' stuff for wintertime when the cold temperatures cause problems with water buildup. Shell gas seems to be quality enough that I may only have to purchase additives every once in a while now. Hooray! --Damien
