sosubeme
Ola! FYI to anyone who cares.... looked at this: http://madison.craigslist.org/cto/2401295889.html at Ruskin Street off Commercial EJ22 auto, r-bucket, runs and drives, though not well. The sellers name is David, decent guy, looking to unload, says is going to scrap in the next day or so for cash. Looking myself for stick wagon late eighties - 96, or later with 2.2 Remember our fallen, wounded, retired, and actively serving military brothers and sisters today! We owe them much....... heartless
Most vehicles depends on how you treat and service them as well. Lots of 4.3 and 3.8 live healthy long lives. Um, most "modern" cars (pretty much anything after say 92-95) are designed to be throw-aways (IMHO) the dealers WANT you coming back every 3 to 5 yrs for a new one - if they really built them to last, they wouldnt make enough money - and the greater majority of people that buy new will do it. then you have folks like us - too broke to buy new, cant even arfford 5-7 yr old used - no, we have to go back 15-20 yrs! LOL We, who will do pretty much whatever it takes to keep our "antique" running and getting us around - and most of the time we succeed - sometimes we dont. It really makes no difference what brand you prefer, chevy, ford, kia, mazda, or our ever popular Subaru - somebody will have a story about the car model that just wouldnt die, and someone else will have a story about that same car model that was the biggest P.O.S. ever. heartless
as for WCSS - not very likely here either - we need to organize a MWSS instead! Indiana, Illinios, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin & Michigan as the primary suspects...the Dakota's, Ohio, etc, if they want to make the journey... Would just need to find a suitable location - plenty of camping, a good wheeling spot or two, that sort of thing.
TheLoyale
LMAO! This thread is gonna get shut down for sure! Well, theres a meet/camping thing in IA which I guess is kinda a MWSS as a few out of state guys show up (I have never gone) but so I've heard. ADD Moment coming up! TheLoyale
where did that NOS valence go? i could not find it. I need it for my 86 3door It is in my garage as I wasn't sure what the plan was for it, and I did not want it to get damaged sitting in the shop as things tend to do down there. When do you need the valance?

MilesFox
I am reserving it for the 86 3door Then i would use the one from the 86 on the 88 The other piece can be cleaned up for jodi or desmonds car I fixed my driveshaft problem by jacking up the carrier mount to bend it up off the driveshaft, and to tuck the driveshaft further into a more proper location. I fixed the fuel leak by replacing the tension clamp with a screw clamp, and a high pressure hose from a pull-off legacy fuel filter. I am going to fit the ground kit and the wing to the car to make the holes and have it bolt up. I would like to paint the wing at least. I may paint the skirts all brown. I have others to use, and reserve the cleanest ones for the final product. On the 88, i am going to fit the xt6 rubber guards against the rear wheel well.
