I take some pics after I clean and install em. also scored a Jackman and headlamp. paid more for the headlamp then i did for the seats..go figure..if anyone has 3 Jackmans they wanna get rid of, please lemme know..i think after i lift it, i will just stick to 14"s for now..was gonna go allied armaments, but on a budget..

The wheel in the pic appears to be an EA82 wagon wheel. Make sure you get EA82 wagon wheels for the EA82 car as the EA81s don't clear the calipers properly. AFAIK, Jackman wheels were only offered during the gen 1 stage 2 run in the late 70's. A Jackman wheel has flat spokes, no curves whatsoever.

thanks caboo for the info..i didnt know there was a difference, for now, it will be a back-up spare.

as far as seats go, u can't use the ej rails to fit in wagon, and u would have to do lots of modification to existing rails to make it fit. plus the height level is waay too high, im 6' and my head almost touches roof. might just sell or trade the seats if anyone is interested

I stuffed the front seats from a 92 legacy in my 87 wagon. I used the rails from the old seats and bolted them to the legacy seats. I used the existing holes on the front and drilled new holes with longer bolts for the rear. Worked quite well.

987687- did u just reweld existing brackets onto car or did u also use existing bolts to secure?

The bolts are all the same, just 10mm bolts or something.

All I did was cut the brackets off the loyale seats and weld them to the EJ seats. Used the stock holes in the car and everything. I actually bolted the brackets into the car, set the seat on the brackets and tack welded it in place. Then pulled it back out and fully welded it.

I recently sat in a mid-80s wagon that had those seats in them (as a retrofit) and I hated them. They're really narrow, worse than airplane seats. And I'm not a big person. They were uncomfortable as hell. My stock '86 GL wagon seats are so much more comfy.

I actually dont mind the seats in my moms 208k mile 1997 Outback wagon even though Ive ehard they are considered some of the worst seats Subaru ever made.

Odd, i think my seats in the 87 GL are the worst seats Ive ever sat in.
