Mike W
What kind of diffs, axles, hubs etc are going to drive those big meats?
subarubrat
Doing the T case mod, subaru tranny locked in low (giving me the same final drive as the stock 13s) for starters. The next step is swappng in the R280 diffs (have on one hand, another sourced. matching inboard axles hybrid to EA81 outers w/ ringed cups. EA81 hubs modded to 6 lug. This is stepping up 3 inches taller and 4 inches wider than what I have now, but the tire weight is unchanged.

subarubrat
Right, then I will have the LOW of the T case as LOW.
Mike W
R280 diffs? I'm not familiar with those. Are they on newer Nissans or something?
subarubrat
Pardon my typo, R180, used on the JDM STIs for a while now, and now on the US STI as well. Larger, stronger, and much tougher stub/CV setups.
Mike W
Ah yes R180, I was guessing that's what you meant. Those tires are pretty big. How about kicking it up another notch to the R200 or R200a? Then you could use ARB air lockers or Calmini clutch style LSD.
