Prwa101
Thanks 2.5loyale, ya my buddy drills flywheels and has his own company for Suzuki converzenz, so he won't mess up. But the add plate I'll buy from sjr. They have a pretty good company there =) And the quistion about the wiring, I know I won't be using the old ecu, but the wiring that goes to the ecu will still be there, that goes to the test of the car, but it was just a thought... I got it wrong, I'm thinking all the lights oil Gage tack and all that runs through the ecu. My bad. My brain thinks faster than my fingers can type ha ha. Found my donor car though! My girlfreinds parents are going toget rid of there legacy, runns and all, just has a crapy heart core and they don't want to deal with it, only 120k. Figure they'll trade 500$ and help finding a loyale like they want and help fixing it up! I've notice there's a lot of nicer subarus up where you guys are, I never see any down where I am in Sandy, Oregon. Gotta give it to ya, you all got some nice rides! Good to have you on my side! Hey sorry my quistions are all over te place! New to this...

The old ECU wiring will actually be very helpful in wiring in the new MPFI legacy harness. You can find all the wires you need to tap into right there. Just unplug the old ECU. That's it. Then add the wires you need to splice from the EJ ECU right there. FSM's readily I'D all the nessecary wires. These are.... Check engine light (CEL) Speed Sensor (VSS) Tach (out from EJ ECU to gauge) Neutral switch positon You can also use those plugs to pull you're IG. switched 12v, to trigger on you're EJ Ignition relay. However, Grounds in those connectors will mostly be disconnected, as they were grounded to the intake of the old engine. But if the loom is stripped right, everything will ground though the new EJ harness/engine so not really an issue.......depends on how you set up the harness. When you get ready to swap, I offer loom stripping. I've got adapterplates down here too. PM me for details
Prwa101
AWSOME! That sounds good to me, I read Nux webpage and he said he's been busy and it hard for him to do them any more, so awsome! How much do you charge for loom striping and addaptors?

Prwa101
On the ecu, will it need to be a 5speed manual one?
cmiller
Here's a thread I put up on my swap, lots of pics and questions answered. Once you do the motor swap and give it a drive you will never go back. The car will drive so much better and pull hills like a champ!
