You might need a coupon for these but they give those out for free too. Anyone local want to buy my used non quick pump version for cheap? See my post in the FS forum. I bought it for $99 and its been amazing in the last 5 months I have had it so far. IT will jack a car high enough to pull a trans mission out on my transmission jack, something like 22". We're looking for jacks specifically for speed and lighness as well as low profile. These, or mine anyways, will be used exclusevely for Rally X and swapping tires as fast as possible. Ed. I went to the Kent store. I was returning a faulty nail gun, didn't want to push the issue. . . I did ask them though and looked through their flyer. When I purchased my floor jack probably 4 years ago I was looking for a quick pump type jack, one that would actually lift a vehicle with less pumps rather than just getting the jack pad to the vehicle quicker. I couldn't find one that would actually lift a vehicle quicker, and ended up with a $100 Craftsman. It uses the same chassis as the HF one you just bought, just different internals. edrach Posted April 7, 2011 Author Share Posted April 7, 2011 I made a comparison between the quick pump and older "non-quick" one I had. Since I jack up from the rear diff or an equal distance under the car when jacking from the front, I can't really get full stroke lifts out of either, but there was a slight improvement with the quick pump version: 13 strokes as compared to 15. Both jacks go to 14-1/2" when fully extended. Not a big improvement, but I wanted a new jack anyway. Sometime when I have the inclination, I'll try the same test when I can use the full stroke of both jacks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Generally their hydraulics are the same "off the shelf" as most other big names, but for a fraction of the price. In both instances, I had to bleed off some excess air shortly after I began using (Perhaps the price point comes in on the hydraulics being seconds that need to be bled for proper function?) but have never had a sag issue since.
