neximile
Anyone know how to troubleshoot the speedometer on a 1986 turbo xt. It is a digital dashboard. The rpm's work and also everything else but the MPH part does not work. Thanks.
Turbone
Check to see if the cable disconnected from the trans or the back of the dash. If thats all good, the cable may have snapped.
MilesFox
its easy to accudentally pull the cable out the back when screwing with heater hoses. DO NOT REMOVE THE BEZEL as it is not necessary, and will break easy. to get ath the instrument cluster, drop the steering column. That bezel is worth 100 bucks not cracked. if you insist on removing it, remove the knockout plug in the clock, then you can remove the radio, then the bezel, but DON"T DO IT
