81subaruglguy Posted May 1, 2011 Author Share Posted May 1, 2011 ok so we got it running but by passed the fuel filter and it was making a lot of noise. just got done pulling the front of the motor apart cause we thought it was a water pump and one of the Tensioner's is shot and the belt isnt even tight or anything so to use it sounds like it jumped time cause i can move the belt on the gears and everything with no problem but wasnt the fuel pump cause that was a 300 fix so hoping this will be cheaper well we know it will be unless valves r messed up too but lets hope not Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

81subaruglguy Posted May 6, 2011 Author Share Posted May 6, 2011 ya they were at .040 and thats what a shop told me to gape them at. car runs great now that its timed right and it was way off like cam gears were like 6 teeth off on both sides cause that idler gear was just gone but nice and strong just need the key made and smog it and thats tomorrow so wasnt that bad to work on Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
