Tapil
I ended up buying a 97 subaru today, was on the way to the dealer to buy a new 2010 subaru from cassey. but the pirates went 4grand OVER STICKER and would not come down! wtf? Disappointed, I took a long way home and saw a subaru for sale at some rinky dink mom and pop dealership, and it was in great condition! Was alot faster than I expected too! Anyways, does anyone know why this subaru is called "brighton"? what makes it so special? or is it just a name? (( Is it because this subaru has no tach! ? ))
MilesFox
The brighton trim line is akin to the DL trim line in older soobs, its basically the basic package without power windows and cruise. its mechanically the same ans anything else. a gauge cluster with tach would swap in. Suba9792
the + side of the Brighton is they have AC that's about the only non basic item you got. I think Subaru was one of the few manufactures to add AC to most of the lines.
Durania
The brighton is the bare minimum of the Impreza line. Crank windows, etc.
