danrenfroe2016
I recently remade my shifter boots with synthetic leather, they work great and are so much better than the rubber. However I have a yard of material. I have material to make probably 15 more of them. I sew them my self. If you need some email me at (my user name at gmail.com) or reply to the post. I can do two segment (what i have) three segment and four segment styles.Thanks. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/26/boot1iv.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/694/boot2d.jpg/ Oh and yes... Next is floor covering! any ideas for inexpensive rubber floors? -Daniel
fignuts
I think those look great! Nice job on those. What are your plans for covering the floor? I need to find some sort of floor covering for my brat and I have no ideas. I bedlined the inside but without carpet or sound deadening material it is fairly lound inside... Yes, mine is LOUD as well, cant use radio. I used to own a 94 Caprice 9C1 Police car. It has this awesome rubber floor, it was installed just like the carpet would be in the non-police setup. I haven't looked yet, but hope to find something similar for the brat that I can make. It was very heavy black textured rubber, very durable and radio sounded fine in the car. It had some kinda pad underneath as well. -Daniel
Whitehog
Take out your seats, trim, and console and put bed liner on it. Its pretty easy to apply, and not to expensive, its not gonna come off though. I hear it cuts noise a bit. Gotta lay it on thick. not sure about heat resistance.

Yes, I was considering, but it dosent seam like it would do enough fo the sound, I really aim to put a cd deck back in. I will see if I have a picture of the floor that was in the caprice, was great stuff.
Whitehog
Used to be able to buy rubber insert flooring for a lot of vehicles, you might find some that would fit close from small pick ups. I had a friend with an s10 with rubber lined floors.
