Yo'J
Wouldn't that be the relay? Alt is at 14.3v. I have to pull the fuse to shut off. This just started yesterday and I've been driving it for a while.
idosubaru
what exactly is happening? i'm having a hard time picturing turning the key off, pulling it out, and the car still runs? seems like it would be ignition related. i can't picture one relay keeping the fuel pump and ignition rolling. MilesFox
The brat we had(ej'd) would stay running in the acc pos, and would run after shutoff until the cooling fan stopped spinning

Yo'J
I thought the ignition switch, but I swapped one on and no change. The fuel pump keeps running though. So I checked the switch, alt, and then noticed the f/p constantly running. Oh I found this too at the same time... https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/MbjzcMuCv1kM1Fntm5r-uATAXOyVpdqlubjohMVHiAw?feat=directlink but thats a different post. drugh
You might have connected the EJ ECU to the wrong side of the fuel pump relay. Are you using the EJ or the EA fuel pump relay? I did my EJ swap last week and this happened to me when I first hooked everything up.
Yo'J
Well, It looks like it was the ea fuel pump relay went bad, I guess I dont need both of them. I had them piggybacked. I swapped everything else out, one by one, checked all my wiring then pulled the plug on the ea relay and it didn't kill the car, but would allow it to turn off. It would have made my wiring easier had I known that.
