Dj7291993
I know the parts store ones don't always come out well (mine lasted a week before it started making noise). I know I could just take it back till I find a good one, but I barely have the time to change it once. So, is there a place in Colorado, preferably near the springs where I can find good rebuilt axles for my 87 coupe (4wd, non-turbo)? Or, any recommendations on how to find a good one? Thanks. edrach
MWE drive axles; they are in Colorado near CCR I believe. Lots of mention for MWE here; try searching for them.
Dj7291993
Thanks, I'll give them a call. If it's actually $75, sounds like a no-brainer.
idosubaru
MWE all the way.
GeneralDisorder
I know MWE is highly regarded, but I haven't had any problems with EMPI axles thus I have never gone through MWE because EMPI is cheaper, brand new, and warrantied through my local parts house. I also routinely rebuild/reboot OEM axles with excelent results. Look for the one's with green painted joints - those are the NTN factory axles.
