Legacide
Long story short, I have a 99 Outback, undercarriage rusted to sh*t. Got it for $600, have put way too much money in it, but now swapping out the "new" 2.5 for a 2.2. While this is happening I need to take care of a few other quirks. One being the exhaust that I tore off while gallivanting in the Flagstaff off-road winter season. Will an exhaust (cat back) swap directly over from a Non-OB Legacy to an OB? I am sure more questions will come. Thanks in advance. Jesse
davebugs
You've got good odds if you're swapping the whole system. Thereis a CHANCE you may have isues due to O2 sensors - their palcement is different. If so I don't know if swapping ECU's woul dhalp or open another can of worms. Physically I beleive you'll be fine. Sensors ?
GeneralDisorder
Well there IS going to be an issue because the '95 Legacy doesn't even have a secondary O2 sensor..... the Outback isn't going to like not having one. That can easily be corrected if you can weld though..... GD
idosubaru
or have a shop weld it in place for you. all muffler shops have the bungs on hand or they're the same as O2 sensors and you can make your own at the autoparts store.
