czaray
Hi all, I have a 93 subaru loyale and I adjusted the clutch and now it won't start. I tried adjusting it back and all it does is make clicking sounds. I have been reading the threads and people say it is because of the clutch safety switch, but I do not know where the clutch safety switch is, or what it looks like. I would rather not bypass it, but will if I have to. But then again, I don't know how to bypass it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.:-\
MilesFox
maybe you have a loose cable near the starter. Check the battery terminals, etc. Perhaps it is a coincidence that the starter went out at the same time. The problem could lie in the ign switch in the steering column. Easy to get at. you can jump a wire from the battery to the spade terminal on the starter. If it clicks, the starter needs service. If it turns, the ign switch needs service. Deterine this after first checking the cables.

Caboobaroo
Check the signal wire on the starter. Good chance you might have knocked it off.
czaray
Yes, it was the battery cables. Cleaned them and started right up.
