Dirk Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 I have access to a grunty lathe so I was considering machining a wee bit off the flywheel or at the very least cleaning it up before getting it balanced. howpow Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 Hi Dirk. It may not look big but it is quite heavy. I had mine lightened by about 20% years ago and the engine revs very nicely. It did seem to make a difference in responsivness at the time but after all these years it just seems normal.
