08LegacyGT
I bought a 2008 Legacy GT with only 33,000 miles on it a few months ago. When I am turning and hit a bump or shallow curb, the front suspension makes a terrible clunking sound. I mean, it sounds like something is going to break. I actually work at a Subaru dealer and the mechanic is having a tough time trying to figure the clunk out. The sway bar bushings have been replaced and the noise is still there. HELP!! brus brother
Use the USMB Search function: "front end clunking" There are numerous posts with numerous suggestions and remedies. On my 2000 Legacy GT, there was a Subaru fix that dampened the power steering lines. In my case, it was a hydraulic knock (I described it as a clunking sound) but as I bought the car brand new, it took SOA time to acknowledge and then come up with a fix.
